Training


CISD as a rapidly expanding development organization strongly emphasizes training for human resource development and transfer of management skills to the community level. CISD conducts different training courses on the basis of needs assessed by all divisions, programs, projects and beneficiary levels. CISD organizes mainly three kinds of training:

  • Internal staff training for skill development
  • Beneficiaries training for their capacity building
  • Awareness raising training for beneficiaries

CISD has established training center in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur district. The training center is furnished with all types of training aids, furniture and accommodation. Moreover, training facilities are available in all project offices.

Objectives:

  • To develop knowledge, skill and attitude of the staff.
  • To utilize human resources optimally.
  • To update the staff about the latest developments internally and globally
  • To strengthen the capacity of the beneficiaries by developing their knowledge and skills on relevant IGAs.
  • To develop the skill of the beneficiaries on leadership and empowerment.

Activities:

  • Need-assessment of staff and beneficiaries for training
  • Updating training curriculum based on the needs
  • Developing and upgrading training materials based on the needs
  • Designing and updating training modules
  • Organizing training for field and headquarter staff
  • Follow-up services for training
